Woman in Black trip
Dear Parent/Carer
On 11th May 2020, we will be taking students to see the theatre production A Woman in Black. Throughout the course of their school life, we would like our students to have as many opportunities as possible to experience live theatre. Following its record-breaking run in London’s West End, Susan Hill’s acclaimed ghost story will come dramatically alive in Stephen Mallatratt’s ingenious stage adaptation, at the Malvern Theatre.
This trip will be open to students in Years 8, 9 and 10. We would like to warn students that this is a production which is a thriller and is likely to contain scenes which will make them ‘jump’. We do not advise this production for students who have a nervous disposition.
There are 46 tickets available for Year 8, 47 for Year 9 and 47 for Year 10 students. Tickets are available on a first come first served basis.
The total cost of the trip, including travel will be £26.50. All payments must be made by Monday March 9th 2020.
Coaches will leave Holmleigh Park High at 17:30 to arrive at Malvern Theatre for a 19:30 start. Running time is approx 125 mins and we will return to school at approx. 22:30. Please ensure there is someone to pick your son/daughter up.
Students will need to wear full uniform and can bring a small amount of money to purchase some snacks.
To sign up for this trip please log into your Parent Pay accounts by the deadline date of March 9th 2020. If you have not activated your Parent Pay account please contact h.hutchinson@hphigh.co.uk
Parental consent and medical information will be given via your on-line account also.

Yours Faithfully
