Phoebe was a kind, curious and determined young person who has made a lasting impact on Holmleigh Park. She was not only a dedicated learner but also a thoughtful friend who always had time for others. Her warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit made a difference in the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by students and staff alike. Phoebe’s passion for learning and her determination to achieve her best were truly inspiring. She approached challenges with resilience and enthusiasm and her approach embodies the very best of our HP values. Beyond her academic achievements, it was her kindness, sense of humour and caring nature that made her such a treasured member of our school community. Phoebe was a masterfully intelligent and wonderful young woman who had a fantastic sense of humour and was always surrounded by friends. Phoebe was a brilliant student - curious and thoughtful, creative and eloquent, and deeply committed to always doing her best. But more than this, she was wonderfully kind - the sort of person who would always smile at you in the corridor, whether she knew you or not. Phoebe was a great person. During activities week, we all got to see the fun and humorous side of her. She was very smart, beautiful, loving, and caring. Sitting next to her during Tutor time reading was always fun. Wishing each other good morning, and having conversations with her was very nice. It was a pleasure to be Phoebe's Head of Year from Year 7 - she was a creative, loyal, sharply intelligent, humorous and ambitious student who formed strong and valued friendships with a close knit group of like-minded individuals. They were always together and could always be seen talking, laughing and just enjoying being with one another. I also had the privilege of teaching Phoebe in English for GCSE and was able to discover her natural interest and ability in English as she genuinely had a true passion for the subject. I could rely on her for a sensible, well considered and thoughtful answer to any of the ideas or questions we were exploring and I have no doubt that she would have excelled at the subject in her GCSEs. This loss is felt so deeply within Year 10 - our thoughts are with her family and our support with her friends as everyone begins to process and grieve the tragic loss of the wonderful person who was Phoebe. We will always remember her.

With every memory I made with Phoebe, whether that was in school or out, I loved every moment and will cherish them forever! She was such a kind, funny, enthusiastic and supportive friend who I will never forget! Phoebe always knew how to put a smile on someones face, and I'd be lying to say she didn't put one on mine. Whenever I was struggling, I'd always go over to her and her friends, I'd immediately feel so much better! Every week in Scholars with her was so fun and I know it will never be the same without her there. It means so much to me that I only really knew Phoebe for about a year but I've made so many memories with her that I'm so happy I made them. Words cannot describe the shock and heartbreak that we as a year group feel after losing Phoebe. She was such a kind-hearted, beautiful, creative girl that would never fail to be herself. Rest easy, Phoebe. We all love you so overwhelmingly much. You were a beautiful person in every single way, and you brought so much joy to so many people. You were so pure and such a kind soul. I'll never forget activities week and how much you made me laugh until I felt sick, especially in our RE lesson where we had to make an island and we kept laughing over our minion leader. And when we had to make tote bags and we couldn't stop laughing because I covered myself in ink. I'll always miss walking to dear with you after PE every Friday in year 9, and always being the first two people there. You were just such an amazing person to be around and always knew what to say. It's so hard to think that we can't sit together in assembly and dear anymore and just laugh at every little thing. I am more than grateful to have been able to know you. You will forever have your own place in my heart, and the hearts of anyone who knew you. 💗

I don't know how to start this really or what to fully say as i haven't even accepted that this is real but I'm glad i got the chance to not only be one of your friends but also the chance to love you and be loved by you. The effect that Phoebe's passing has had on the entire school community, is testimony of what a kind and exuberant young person she was. Phoebe has left her mark on every person she interacted with, through her caring and inquisitive personality, and through the memories she has made with so many people around her. We are all so saddened by what has happened, but Phoebe will live on through the people who loved her, and those who had the fortune to have met her. She will be greatly missed by us all.

Was friends with phoebe in year 7 and 8, always made the school a brighter place with her smile, dear time will never feel the same way again, there will forever be an empty space which Phoebe used to fill in dear time, seeing it so empty will never feel right, hopefully your making the stars shine bright for us, forever in our hearts we miss you loads Phoebe xx

I promised to keep you close and take care of you, I hope I helped you when I could have. I loved talking to you and playing with you. Memories I have made with you and Oscar are some of my favourite- something that hurts at the moment but I know will most certainly bring me joy once again. You’re still my sister and I’m still yours. I give you the brightest star at night (although it could never come close to living up to you). I’m so sorry for everyone affected but my love most certainly goes to her amazing family. A gorgeous young woman with a personality unmatched. Someone anyone could go to, someone that was always there, someone that should never have been taken away. Despite her short time here, Phoebe made an overwhelming impact and illustrated all that was good, something her family should treasure and be so incredibly proud of. There are few people who would ever be worthy of the words shared here. Phoebe you are deserving of them all. You were always incredibly kind. You were bright, patient, gentle, thoughtful, accepting, hand working, honest, selfless, generous and modest. Being as modest and as gracious as you were, I am not sure if you knew the impact that you had on the people around you and the care and loyalty they felt towards you. Even if it was for a brief time they were always touched by your kind nature. Phoebe your pure and good actions in life remembered help to replace the shock and painful loss felt at your passing. As a family, we’re all so sorry to hear about Phoebe. I gave her a lift home from school a few times and she also visited our house on numerous occasions. She was very quiet but always polite. Beautiful Phoebe. We have strong and very fond memories of a free spirit, glitter all over her face, henna tattoos and laughing with the girls, at home, at festivals, and parties. What great fun they had together as young children. Phoebe was just so lovely and must have made her family very proud every day. Sending much love and thoughts to Phoebe's family.
