Dear Parent/Carer 

Y10 Science homework 

As you will be aware year 11 is fast approaching; and as a science department we want to ensure your child is given every opportunity to practice exam skills and recall key information that has been learned in lessons. 

To support with this they will be set weekly homework via the online platform Educake. This is a knowledge testing site that has been proven to assist in raising students’ grades through ensuring that their recall and application are tested regularly. 

Students have been provided with their usernames and have had the opportunity to reset their passwords if needed. However if they have any issues they can speak to their science teacher. 

The homework is set on “Show My Homework” where there is a link to the Educake website, or it can be directly accessed from https://www.educake.co.uk/ 

If a student fails to complete their homework this will result in a 1 hour detention issued on the same day.
