Letter from the Head - Friday 17th May
In this issue: HP success in the Ten Tors Challenge, sporting achievements and how we now communicate PE fixtures and team selections
Dear all,
Last weekend, three of our boys conquered the Ten Tors challenge. The Ten Tors challenge is incredibly demanding but Jac, William and Nathan showed so much perseverance and resilience to complete it - the first time that an HP team has done so. They have done themselves proud and represented HP superbly. Another huge thank you to the HP staff involved with supporting them, including Ms Mcrae, Ms Saltmarsh and Mr Silverstone-Rogers.

This week, our Y7 and Y8 Girls won the first ever girls’ cricket fixture we have taken against Severn Vale. In further sporting success, the following students went to District Athletics trials and have been selected to run at the County Championships:
- Riley - 100m
- Elasia - 200m
- Ella - 200m and 300m
Finally, congratulations to Florence in Year 9 who recently took part in the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts. Not only did she have the honour of taking part, but she was awarded 3rd place and a bronze medal, in a section of a very high standard, for her ballet solo.
I wish you all a lovely weekend,
Mr Hudson
