The furthest distance allocated a place varies from year to year.  The information below details the furthest distance allocated a place under the distance criteria.

2024: 1.766 miles

2023: 1.683 miles 

2022: All applications under the school’s Distance criteria submitted by the closing date, (31st October 2021) were offered a place at the school.

2021: All applications under the school’s Distance criteria submitted by the closing date, (31st October 2021) were offered a place at the school.

 

I applied after the closing date, is my application regarded as late?

If your application was made after the closing date of 31 October 2023 or you changed your preferences after this date, your application will be treated as late.  A late application will not be considered until after all those that were received on time.

I moved house after the closing date, why can’t my new address be taken in to account?

The address used for the allocations is the home address at the closing date, 31 October 2023. If you move address after completing your application, you should inform the Local Authority.  You must provide evidence.  

How do I lodge an appeal?

Parents/carers wishing to lodge an appeal for entry in September 2024 must send a written request for an Appeal Pack by email to:  admissionappeals@greenshawlearningtrust.co.uk
